De DRIEDUBBELE MITRAILLEURKAZEMAT IX is qua grondplanschema vrijwel identiek aan de driedubbele mitrailleurkazemat X, doch het grondplanschema is spiegelbeeldig toegepast in verband met de situering van de gebouwen, links en rechts van de autoweg, tussen spuisluizen en voorhaven. Te halverbreedte is een dilatatievoeg aangebracht.
Aan de binnen- en buitenzijde van de zuidwest wand zijn twee maal twee privaatruimtes aangebracht. Links en rechts van de privaten bieden stalen deuren toegang tot twee portalen, middels een hoek van 90 ° verbonden met de gangruimte. De twee ingangen worden vanuit twee mitrailleurkazematruimtes (gesitueerd in de uiterste noordoost hoek) door middel van een geweerschietgat via de portalen gedekt. Tussen de kazematruimtes zijn aan de noordoost wand twee legeringslokalen voor manschappen aanwezig, welke onderling een verbinding hebben. The TRIPLE MACHINE GUN CASEMATE IX is in terms of ground plan schema virtually identical to the triple machine gun casemate X, but the ground plan schema is applied as a mirror image in connection with the location of the buildings, left and right of the motorway, between sluice gates and outer harbour. On the inside and outside of the southwest wall two sets of two toilet facilities have been provided.
