De ENKELE MITRAILLEURKAZEMAT XII is een iets afwijkend type ten opzichte van de werken I, II en VIII. Vanwege de situering op de kade van de voorhaven was het slechts mogelijk om aan de noordoost zijde van de kazemat aardwerken toe te voegen. Voor het overige is extra dekking verkregen door de toepassing van een betonnen borstwering. Afwijkend ten opzichte van de werken I, II en VIII is verder het ontbreken van binnenprivaten.
Aan de zuidwest zijde bieden stalen deuren links en rechts toegang tot twee portalen, welke middels een hoek van 90 ° verbonden zijn met de gangruimte. The SINGLE MACHINE GUN CASEMATE XII is a somewhat different type compared with works I, II and VIII. Because of its location on the quay of the outer harbour it was only possible to add earthworks on the north-east side of the casemate. For the rest, extra cover was obtained by the application of a concrete breastwork. Different compared with works I, II and VIII is furthermore the absence of internal private spaces.
On the south-west side steel doors to the left and right provide access to two portals, which are connected by a 90° angle with the corridor space. The corridor space adjoins the accommodation space for troops located against the north-east wall, telephone exchange and machine gun casemate room with loophole in the north-west wall. The two entrances are covered from the accommodation space and the machine gun casemate room by means of a rifle loophole via the portals. Above the left entrance the specification year 1932 is indicated. The camouflage painting from the 1950s is fairly recognisable.
