De ENKELE MITRAILLEURKAZEMAT VIII is een bijna vierkant werk, in de breedte met een aantal ruimtefuncties uitgebreid. Identiek met de enkele mitrailleurkazematten I en II zijn de twee maal twee privaatruimtes aan de binnen- en buitenzijde van de frontafzijdige buitenwand (zuidwest) met links en rechts daarvan de stalen deuren, welke toegang bieden tot een portaal. De door de verbreding ontstane binnenruimte (legeringslokaal manschappen) heeft tot gevolg dat de portalen middels een hoek van 90 ° verbonden zijn met een dubbele, T-vormige gangruimte. Aan de noordwest zijde zijn het legeringslokaal voor officieren en de telefooncentrale.
Aan de zuidoost zijde bevinden zich het legeringslokaal voor manschappen en de kazematruimte voor mitrailleur met schietgat in de frontwand (noordoost). Tegen de frontwand bevindt zich nog een kleine waarnemingsruimte met gietstalen koepel. The SINGLE MACHINE GUN CASEMATE VIII is an almost square work, widened in extent with a number of room functions. Identical with the single machine gun casemates I and II are the two sets of two private spaces on the inside and outside of the front-facing outer wall (south-west) with steel doors to the left and right thereof, which provide access to a portal. The inner space (troop accommodation space) created by the widening has the consequence that the portals are connected by a 90° angle with a double, T-shaped corridor space. On the north-west side are the officer accommodation space and the telephone exchange.
On the south-east side are the troop accommodation space and the machine gun casemate room with loophole in the front wall (north-east). Against the front wall there is still a small observation room with a cast steel dome. The two entrances are covered from the telephone exchange and the troop accommodation space by means of a rifle loophole via the portals.
The outer wall thickness is: NW 1.70 m and 2.20 m; NE 1.90 m and 2.40 m; SE 1.80 m and SW 1.90 m.
