Omschrijving onderdeel 2: PARKAANLEG, XIXa-b.
De parkaanleg bestaat uit a. een voorplein; b. een wandelbosje; c. een terrein rond het huis en d. een weiland met twee bosjes.
ad a.: het voorplein (ten noorden van het huis) bestaat uit een grasveld met een asymmetrisch rondgaand grindpad naar en langs de voordeur; in het gras rechts voor het huis enkele fraaie oude eiken, rode beuken en een plataan; tussen het voorplein en de weg een langwerpige vijver, die het ene eindpunt van de gracht is; de vijver eindigt tegen de dam (zie onder 4).
ad b.: het meest oostelijke deel van het complex bestaat uit een wandelbosje met een slingerpad; tussen de weg (Deventerdijk) en het bos ligt de smalle gracht, die met een bocht doorloopt en eindigt ten zuidwesten van het huis.
ad c.: het terrein direct ten oosten, zuiden en westen van het huis is momenteel verdeeld in kleine tuinen, die aangelegd zijn ten behoeve van de vier wooneenheden in het huis; de tuinen als zodanig zijn niet beschermd. Het beeld is rommelig en in historische zin onjuist.
ad d.: ten westen van het huis bestaat het gebied uit een weiland, waarin enkele oude fruitbomen en een oude solitair (plataan); wellicht was hier vroeger een moestuin met boomgaard; de grachtlus, die hier tot in de jaren 60 van de twintigste eeuw was, is gedempt; het weiland wordt in het westen begrensd door twee oude loofhoutbosjes.

Description of component 2: PARK LAYOUT, first and second half of the 19th century.
The park layout consists of a. a forecourt; b. a walking wood; c. grounds around the house and d. a meadow with two woods.
Re a.: the forecourt (to the north of the house) consists of a lawn with an asymmetrical circulating gravel path to and along the front door; in the grass to the right of the house several fine old oaks, red beeches and a plane tree; between the forecourt and the road a long pond, which is one endpoint of the moat; the pond ends against the dam (see below 4).
Re b.: the most easternmost part of the complex consists of a walking wood with a winding path; between the road (Deventerdijk) and the wood lies the narrow moat, which winds through and ends to the southwest of the house.
Re c.: the ground directly to the east, south and west of the house is currently divided into small gardens, which have been laid out for the four residential units in the house; the gardens as such are not protected. The appearance is untidy and historically incorrect.
Re d.: to the west of the house the area consists of a meadow, in which some old fruit trees and an old solitary tree (plane tree); perhaps there was formerly a vegetable garden with orchard here; the moat loop, which existed here into the 1960s, has been filled in; the meadow is bounded to the west by two old deciduous woods.
