Omschrijving onderdeel 7:
ORNAMENT in de vorm van een ei, XVIIId; het betreft een (van oorspronkelijk twee) hardstenen bekroning van één van de pijlers van het inrijhek aan de achterkant (= oostzijde) van de buitenplaats: het ei rust via een rond uitzwenkend halsstuk op een vierkante dekplaat, alles hardsteen. Het ornament staat nu op de hoek van de muur, die de achtergevels van het hoofdgebouw en het zuidelijk bouwhuis met elkaar verbindt.

ORNAMENT in the form of an egg, second half of 18th century; it concerns one (of originally two) hard stone finials of one of the pillars of the entrance gate on the rear (= east side) of the country estate: the egg rests via a round projecting neck section on a square coping stone, all of hard stone. The ornament now stands on the corner of the wall, which connects the rear facades of the main building and the southern service building to each other.
