Omschrijving onderdeel 1: HOOFDGEBOUW, in 1780 gebouwd naar ontwerp van de Luikse architect J.B. Renoz in L.XVI-stijl; op het vierkante omgrachte westeiland op rechthoekige plattegrond met driezijdig uitgebouwde middenpartij aan voor- en achterkant; de partijen hebben elk een dubbele bordestrap van vier treden; twee bouwlagen tussen kelderverdieping en zolder onder ingezwenkte met leien gedekte afgewolfde mansardekap; midden op het dak een achtkantig torentje met helmdak en uurwerk. Voorgevel van mergel, achter- en zijgevels van baksteen, alles witgekalkt; achtruitsvensters; raamomlijstingen in natuursteen. Het gebouw is in 1954 geheel uitgebrand; ook de kap verdween; enig stucwerk is gespaard gebleven, o.a. in de achthoekige vestibule: ionische pilasters en stucbeelden in nissen. Herstel van het gebouw had plaats in 1975-1988.

Description component 1: MAIN BUILDING, built in 1780 after designs by the Liège architect J.B. Renoz in Louis XVI style; on the square, moated western island on a rectangular floor plan with a three-sided extended central section on the front and rear; the sections each have a double entrance staircase of four steps; two storeys between basement and attic under a curved mansard roof with slate covering; in the middle of the roof an octagonal tower with a helm roof and a clock. Front facade of marl, rear and side facades of brick, all whitewashed; sash windows; window frames in natural stone. The building was completely destroyed by fire in 1954; the roof also disappeared; some stucco work was preserved, including in the octagonal vestibule: Ionic pilasters and stucco figures in niches. Restoration of the building took place in 1975-1988.
