Omschrijving
TOEGANGSHEK, eerste kwart negentiende eeuw, bestaande uit twee vierkante pijlers met rijk geprofileerde dekplaten met eikelvormige bekroning, alles in mergel, toegepast in de trant van breuksteen (Kunrader steen) met brede voegen, wat het Engelse aspect verhoogt; aan buiten-(= weg)-zijde halfronde nissen. Met aflopende kwartronde muurtjes zijn de pijlers verbonden met twee lagere, vierkante pijlers; muurtjes en laatstgenoemde pijlers gedekt met eenvoudige dekplaten, alles in mergel. Vanuit de meest westelijke pijler loopt over enkele meters een stuk muur (weer iets lager) evenwijdig aan de weg. Hekvleugels ontbreken.

ENTRANCE GATE, first quarter 19th century, consisting of two square pillars with richly profiled coping stones with acorn-shaped crowning, all in marl, applied in the manner of split stone (Kunrader stone) with wide joints, which increases the English aspect; on the exterior (= road) side half-round niches. With sloping quarter-round small walls the pillars are connected with two lower, square pillars; small walls and latter pillars capped with simple coping stones, all in marl. From the most westerly pillar runs over several metres a section of wall (again somewhat lower) parallel to the road. Gate wings are absent.
