KASTEEL, bestaat uit een symmetrisch vierkant hoofdgedeelte (achttiende eeuw en ouder) en een naar het zuiden gerichte smallere zijvleugel (vierde kwart negentiende eeuw) in het verlengde van de ingangsgevel, i.e. de gevel aan de binnenplaats (= westzijde); hoofdblok en vleugel hebben elk twee bouwlagen met een kapverdieping. In het midden van de ingangsgevel staat een iets uitspringende toren, waarin de hoofdingang is; de toren is één verdieping hoger dan de rest van het gebouw en wordt bekroond met een klokvormig dak, waarop een lantaarn met windvaan; de gevel van de toren draagt een fronton, waarin een uurwerk (wijzerplaat). In de oksel van hoofdblok en vleugel (i.e. oostzijde) een traptorentje met eveneens een klokvormig dak. De eindgevel van de vleugel heeft een klokvormige beëindiging, evenals de middenpartij van de oostgevel (= parkzijde) van het hoofdgedeelte van het kasteel. Deze middenpartij is gevat tussen geblokte pilasters; ook pilasters op de hoeken van de oostgevel. Het gehele gebouw is witgepleisterd en de schilddaken zijn gedekt met blauwe lei; de ramen hebben alle hardstenen omlijstingen.

CASTLE, consisting of a symmetrical square main section (18th century and older) and a narrower side wing facing south (last quarter 19th century) in line with the entrance facade, i.e. the facade on the courtyard (= west side); main block and wing each have two storeys with a roof storey. In the middle of the entrance facade stands a slightly projecting tower, in which the main entrance is located; the tower is one storey higher than the rest of the building and is crowned with a bell-shaped roof, on which a lantern with weathervane; the facade of the tower bears a pediment, in which a clock face. In the corner of main block and wing (i.e. east side) a small staircase tower also with a bell-shaped roof. The end facade of the wing has a bell-shaped termination, as does the central section of the east facade (= park side) of the main part of the castle. This central section is framed between fluted pilasters; also pilasters on the corners of the east facade. The entire building is whitewashed and the hipped roofs are covered with blue slate; all windows have sandstone mouldings.
