HOOFDGEBOUW, grotendeels van mergel met laat-gotische korfbogen, vensters en trapgevels , midden XVI (gevelsteen 1548), en een bakstenen langsgevel (zuidoostgevel) met banden, tussendorpel- en kruiskozijnen van mergel in de trant van de Maaslandse renaissance, blijkens ankers uit 1651; zadeldak uitlopend in de aan de andere lange zijde kortere uitbouw met netgewelf, XVI. In de oksel van deze uitbouw en hoofdgebouw de achtkantige traptoren met spits; spits en zadeldak met leien gedekt. Inwendig: o.a. schouw met kariatiden, vroeg XVII, enige schoorsteenmantels met stucversiering, XVIII c-d. Cartouche in frescotechniek, polychroom, Vredeman de Vries-stijl. Spil in traptoren gedeeltelijk XVI; samengestelde balklagen, in sommige vertrekken gestuct. In 1972 werd een integrale restauratie voltooid. Afkomstig uit de kelder van het huis staat nu naast de ingang van het onderhuis een grote hardstenen waterbak als opvang van hemelwater; vanwege de grootte indrukwekkend als uitgefreesde monoliet. Bouwfragmenten van het hoofdgebouw, mergel, liggen thans opgeslagen onder een afdakje op het terrein.

Description
MAIN BUILDING, largely of marl with late-gothic corbel arches, windows and stepped gables, mid 16th century (foundation stone 1548), and a brick longitudinal facade (south-east facade) with bands, intermediate-dormer and cross windows of marl in the manner of Maas-land renaissance, as evidenced by wall anchors from 1651; gabled roof extending into the shorter outbuilding on the other long side with net vault, 16th century. In the angle between this outbuilding and the main building the octagonal stair tower with spire; spire and gabled roof covered with slate. Interior: including fireplace with caryatids, early 17th century, several chimney mantels with stucco decoration, 18th century c-d. Cartouche in fresco technique, polychrome, Vredeman de Vries style. Spindle in stair tower partially 16th century; composite beam layers, in some rooms stuccoed. In 1972 a complete restoration was completed. Originating from the cellar of the house, a large hardstone water tank now stands next to the entrance of the lower house as a collection point for rainwater; impressive because of its size as a routed monolith. Building fragments of the main building, marl, are now stored under a roof structure on the site.
