Omschrijving
TUINAANLEG omvat de volgende delen:
a. de hof
b. het terrein dat gelegen is tussen de hof, het vakwerkhuis, de Burg. Minkenberglaan en Daalerdijk
c. de grote pereboomgaard
d. een weiland
ad a.: de hof bestaat uit een groot centraal grasveld met enkele oude fruitbomen, waar omheen een lusvormig grindpad direct langs de gebouwen en muren; e.e.a. naar concept van Van Laar, XIXb; hier en daar tussen muren en pad (lei)fruit en smalle borders. Bij de schuur (zie 4) is de toegang tot de hof via een kort pad vanaf het inrijhek (zie 5) aan de Minkenberglaan.
ad b.: dit tuindeel bestaat vooral uit fruitbomen en een minuscuul romantisch zgn. Van Laar-element (XIXb): een in een laagte (deel van voormalige gracht) nog iets verder uitgegraven ringslootje, dat aldus een eilandje vormt; hierop een treurberk en eertijds een prieëeltje, waarvan de funderingsresten nog aanwezig zijn; dit tuinelement ligt direct langs de Minkenberglaan.
ad c.: de boomgaard met oude peren ten noorden van de gebouwen, in aanleg XIX of ouder, beslaat bijna de helft van het totale complexoppervlak; duidelijk herkenbare lintvormige laagten geven de loop van een vroegere gedeeltelijke omgrachting aan, midden XVII.
ad d.: het rechthoekige perceel grasland (eertijds waarschijnlijk ook boomgaard), dat zich als zuidoosteijk deel van het complex uitstrekt tussen de Dorpsstraat en de Daalerdijk. Dit weiland is in het totale complex opgenomen om landschappelijk-visuele waarden, die vanouds aanwezig zijn.

GARDEN LAYOUT comprises the following parts:
a. the courtyard
b. the land situated between the courtyard, the half-timbered house, the Burg. Minkenberglaan and Daalerdijk
c. the large pear orchard
d. a meadow
Re a.: the courtyard consists of a large central lawn with a few old fruit trees, around which loops a gravel path running directly along the buildings and walls; all of this according to the concept of Van Laar, 19th century b; here and there between walls and path (slate) espalier fruit and narrow borders. At the barn (see 4) access to the courtyard is via a short path from the entrance gate (see 5) on the Minkenberglaan.
Re b.: this garden part consists mainly of fruit trees and a minute romantic so-called Van Laar element (19th century b): a ring ditch, excavated a little further in a depression (part of a former moat), thus forming a small island; on it a weeping birch and formerly a small arbour, of which the foundation remains are still present; this garden element lies directly along the Minkenberglaan.
Re c.: the orchard with old pears north of the buildings, laid out in the 19th century or older, covers almost half of the total complex area; clearly recognisable linear depressions indicate the course of a former partial moating, mid 17th century.
Re d.: the rectangular plot of grassland (formerly probably also an orchard), which extends as the south-eastern part of the complex between the Dorpsstraat and the Daalerdijk. This meadow is included in the total complex because of landscape-visual values, which have been present from old.
