BIJGEBOUWEN; het bijgebouwencomplex, XVII-XVIII, is geheel symmetrisch opgezet op een U-plattegrond en ligt ten noorden van het kasteel direct aan de Steinweg; het bestaat uit twee bouwhuizen, die op de binnenste noordhoeken met elkaar verbonden zijn door een poortgebouw; de beide aldus gevormde hoeken aan de wegzijde zijn gevuld met later gebouwde (XIX?) loodsen. De bouwhuizen hebben twee bouwlagen onder een zadeldak; de topgevels hebben speklagen. Het poortgebouw, eveneens twee bouwlagen, heeft een schilddak, dat lager is dan die van de bouwhuizen; in de buitengevel loopt de muur boven de poort driehoekig door; de poort heeft een hardstenen omlijsting tussen pilasters van hetzelfde materiaal. De loodsen, waarvan de westelijke naar de weg toe open is, hebben een lessenaarsdak; de bovenkanten ervan sluiten aan op de bouwhuizen. Het gehele complex is in baksteen, de daken gedekt met grijze pannen; de meeste ramen en deuren met hardstenen omlijstingen; in de onderste bouwlaag kijkspleten, met name in de buitengevels. Inwendig o.m.: in het westelijke bouwhuis vormen de verdieping en de zolder één ruimte, waarin 5 hoge spitsbogen, XVII, in baksteen met sluitsteen in mergel in de spits.

OUTBUILDINGS; the outbuilding complex, 17th-18th century, is entirely symmetrically laid out on a U-shaped floor plan and lies to the north of the castle directly on the Steinweg; it consists of two bouwhuizen (storage buildings), which are connected at their inner north corners by a gatehouse; the two angles thus formed on the road side are filled with later-built (19th century?) sheds. The bouwhuizen have two storeys under a gabled roof; the end gables have lacing courses. The gatehouse, likewise two storeys, has a hipped roof, which is lower than that of the bouwhuizen; in the outer gable the wall above the gate projects triangularly; the gate has a sandstone surround between pilasters of the same material. The sheds, of which the western one is open toward the road, have a lean-to roof; their tops connect with the bouwhuizen. The entire complex is in brick, the roofs covered with grey tiles; most of the windows and doors with sandstone surrounds; in the lower storey viewing slits, particularly in the outer gables. Internally among others: in the western bouwhuis the first floor and the attic form one space, in which are 5 high pointed arches, 17th century, in brick with voussoir in marl at the apex.
