ad a.: de inrichting van het voorplein is eigentijds; alleen het middenpad van maaskeien, dat vanaf de weg door de centrale poort (zie onder 3) tot bijna aan de brug voert, is waarschijnlijk van oudere datum, evenals de twee monumentale oude linden ter weerszijden aan het begin van de brug (zie 4).
ad b.: het eigenlijke park is zeer eenvoudig van opzet en bestaat in feite uit een bomen- en struikensingel langs de begrenzing van het complex; daarbinnen liggen grote grasvelden met oude solitairen. Het grootste deel van het park strekt zich uit ten oosten van het huis: een groot laaggelegen drassig grasveld met solitairen langs de rand. Het kleine parkdeel ten westen van het kasteel wordt beheerst door vier enorme platanen en een es.
ad c.: de boomgaard (inmiddels voor een groot deel ingericht als siertuin) ligt achter (= ten oosten) van het linker bouwhuis en wordt aan de noordzijde van de Steinweg gescheiden door de tuinmuur (zie onder 5); de scheiding met het park bestaat uit een bijna 2 m. hoog talud, dat met struiken beplant is.
ad d.: achter het rechter bouwhuis, de boerderij, ligt een kleine moestuin en het erf van de boerderij; het bakhuis (zie onder 6) scheidt de moestuin van het westelijk parkdeel.
ad e.: het hakhoutbosje beslaat ruim een derde van het totale complex; het ligt ten oosten van het park en maakte hiervan deel uit tot in de jaren 30 van deze eeuw; er staan nog enkele oude solitairen.

re a.: the layout of the forecourt is contemporary; only the central path of Maas bricks, which runs from the road through the central gate (see under 3) almost as far as the bridge, is probably of older date, as are the two monumental old linden trees on either side at the beginning of the bridge (see 4).
re b.: the actual park is very simple in layout and in fact consists of a border of trees and shrubs along the boundary of the complex; within this lie large grass fields with old solitary trees. The greater part of the park extends to the east of the house: a large low-lying damp grass field with solitary trees along the edge. The small park section to the west of the castle is dominated by four enormous plane trees and an ash tree.
re c.: the orchard (meanwhile largely laid out as an ornamental garden) lies behind (= to the east of) the left outbuilding and is separated on the north side of the Steinweg by the garden wall (see under 5); the separation from the park consists of an almost 2 m. high slope, which is planted with shrubs.
re d.: behind the right outbuilding, the farmhouse, lies a small vegetable garden and the farmyard; the bakehouse (see under 6) separates the vegetable garden from the western park section.
