Complexonderdeel 2
De door A. Tepe ontworpen TOREN maakte oorspronkelijk deel uit van de in 1883 in neogotische stijl opgetrokken kapel. Deze werd in 1964-1965 -behoudens de toren- gesloopt om plaats te maken voor een nieuwe kapel, die buiten de bescherming valt. De ten zuidoosten van het hoofdgebouw gelegen toren is op achthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken uit baksteen en telt drie geledingen. De eerste geleding is vastgebouwd aan de niet beschermde kapel. De tweede geleding, boven de natuurstenen band, bevat in elke zijde onder de afzaat smalle vensters. De derde geleding heeft boven een afzaat in elke gevelzijde een galmgat met spitsboogbeëindiging. De toren wordt afgedekt door een hoog opgaand naaldspitsdak met leien gedekt in maasdekking. De spits wordt bekroond door een torenhaan.

The TOWER designed by A. Tepe originally formed part of the chapel erected in neogothic style in 1883. This was demolished in 1964-1965 -with the exception of the tower- to make way for a new chapel, which falls outside the protected area. The tower, located to the south-east of the main building, is constructed on an octagonal plan in brick and comprises three storeys. The first storey is built against the unprotected chapel. The second storey, above the natural stone band, contains narrow windows beneath the offset on each side. The third storey has above an offset a sound hole with pointed arch termination on each facade side. The tower is topped by a steeply pitched spire roof covered with slate in Dutch bond. The spire is crowned by a weathervane.
Valuation
