Omschrijving
Balustervormige SOKKEL, omstreeks 1921 geplaatst op De Wiersse. De sokkel was toen gesierd met een door Auguste Gerber van Koln gegoten vaas. Deze vaas werd omstreeks 1989 beschadigd en wordt thans (1996) in de zomermaanden vervangen door een vermoedelijk 17de-eeuwse terracotta vaas met overblijfselen van een polychromie, voorzien van een geschulpte rand en een rondomgaande guirlande die aan twee zijden wordt vastgehouden door een sater.
De SOKKEL behorende tot de buitenplaats De Wiersse is van algemeen belang:

Description
Baluster-shaped PLINTH, placed around 1921 on De Wiersse. The plinth was then adorned with a vase cast by Auguste Gerber von Köln. This vase was damaged around 1989 and is now (1996) replaced during the summer months by a presumably 17th-century terracotta vase with remnants of polychromy, furnished with a sculpted rim and a continuous garland held on two sides by a satyr.
