Omschrijving
Geheel houten TUINHEK staande op een bakstenen DAM met duiker die voorzien is van een schuif. Het hek staat tussen de rozentuin en de oostelijk hiervan gelegen zgn. "wilde tuin". Het groen geschilderde tuinhek uit het derde kwart van de 19de eeuw bestaat uit vier houten, meerzijdige staanders, met bol bekroonde geprofileerde dekplaten. Tussen de twee hogere, middelste staanders zijn twee draaibare vleugels aangebracht, en links en rechts van de staanders een regelwerk. Het hek wordt aan weerszijden door een zijstuk afgesloten, beide voorzien van roeden. Het hek heeft een gecurfde bovenzijde. In een van de staanders is gekerfd: 1878 V (=Victor de Stuers) A (=Aurelie van Limburg Stirum)
Het TUINHEK op de DAM behorende tot de buitenplaats De Wiersse is van algemeen belang:

Description
Entirely wooden GARDEN GATE standing on a brick DAM with culvert provided with a sluice. The gate stands between the rose garden and the so-called "wild garden" to the east of it. The green-painted garden gate from the third quarter of the 19th century consists of four wooden, multi-sided uprights with ball-topped moulded coping slabs. Between the two higher, middle uprights two hinged wings are attached, and to the left and right of the uprights a framework. The gate is closed on both sides by a side section, both provided with bars. The gate has a curved top. Carved in one of the uprights is: 1878 V (=Victor de Stuers) A (=Aurelie van Limburg Stirum)
