TWEE NATUURSTENEN BEELDEN (LUCRETIA EN TARQUINIUS). Twee BEELDEN uit waarschijnlijk 1750 in Bentheimersteen ten voeten uit, voorstellende een man (Tarquinius) en een vrouw (Lucretia). Lucretia draagt een geplooid kleed en Tarquinius draagt een zwaard in zijn hand en een helm op zijn hoofd. Op de voetplaat van het mannelijke beeld is het jaartal '1750' aangebracht. Beide beelden zijn afkomstig van het huis van Victor de Stuers in de Parkstraat in 's-Gravenhage en in 1921 naar De Wiersse gebracht. De beelden werden na een restauratie in 1995 in de tuin geplaatst en staan thans (1996) aan het zuideinde van de pergola.
De BEELDEN behorende tot de buitenplaats De Wiersse zijn van algemeen belang:

Description
TWO NATURAL STONE SCULPTURES (LUCRETIA AND TARQUINIUS). Two SCULPTURES probably from 1750 in Bentheimer stone, full-length, depicting a man (Tarquinius) and a woman (Lucretia). Lucretia wears a pleated dress and Tarquinius carries a sword in his hand and a helmet on his head. On the base of the male sculpture the date '1750' is inscribed. Both sculptures came from the house of Victor de Stuers on the Parkstraat in 's-Gravenhage and were brought to De Wiersse in 1921. Following restoration in 1995 the sculptures were placed in the garden and now stand (1996) at the south end of the pergola.
