Inleiding
AANPLAKZUIL gelegen op de hoek van de Koningstraat en Kattendiep-West. De zuil uit de jaren dertig van de 20ste eeuw, heeft in de loop der tijd op verschillende plekken in de stad gestaan, waaronder aan het begin van de Wilhelminastraat op de middenberm. Het object is eigendom van de gemeente en was oorspronkelijk waarschijnlijk bestemd voor reclame van de voormalige bioscoop aan de Dijkstraat. Het is een uniek object dat verder in de provincie Groningen nergens is aangetroffen.
De zuil is midden op een met klinkers geplaveide cirkel geplaatst op een open hoek.
Omschrijving
Geheel uit beton gegoten ronde AANPLAKZUIL op achthoekige betonnen basis met flauw hellend koepeldak. De zuil is aan de bovenzijde voorzien van twee verdikte betonnen banden.

Introduction
ADVERTISING COLUMN located at the corner of the Koningstraat and Kattendiep-West. The column from the nineteen-thirties, has stood in different places in the city over the years, including at the beginning of the Wilhelminastraat on the central reservation. The object is the property of the municipality and was originally probably intended for advertising the former cinema on the Dijkstraat. It is a unique object that has not been found elsewhere in the province of Groningen.
The column is placed in the middle of a circle paved with clinker bricks on an open corner.
Description
Completely concrete-cast round ADVERTISING COLUMN on octagonal concrete base with gently sloping dome roof. The column is provided at the top with two thickened concrete bands.
