Inleiding
POMPGEMAAL van de polder Het Noorden, onderdeel uitmakend van het uitwateringscomplex van de polders "Het Noorden", "Eijerland", "Waal en Burg". Het gemaal dateert uit 1913 en werd in 1939 vernieuwd.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan in baksteen opgetrokken gemaal, van oorsprong uit 1913, bestaande uit een bouwlaag onder een met zwarte pannen gedekt zadeldak. De noklijn is oost-westgericht. De oostelijke kopgevel heeft een vensteras, die een rechthoekig houten kruisvenster met roedenverdeling bevat. Boven het venster is een betonnen latei aangebracht. De topgevel heeft verticaal houten beschot. Het dak heeft een klein overstek met windveren.
De noordgevel heeft geheel rechts een rechthoekige houten deur. Het noordelijk dakschild wordt vlak onder de nok doorsneden door een vierkante bakstenen schoorsteen.
De westelijke kopgevel heeft een zelfde venster als de oostgevel. In de nok van de westgevel is tevens een klein rond venster aangebracht met drie roeden. De gevel wordt afgesloten door een dakoverstek met windveren.
De zuidgevel heeft een venster als in de kopgevels. Aan deze zijde bevindt zich tevens een op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen aanbouw onder ingestoken zadeldak met zwarte pannen.
Het interieur is merendeels intact en bevat een oliemotor met centrifugaalpomp.

Pump station of rectangular plan, constructed in brick, originally from 1913, consisting of one storey under a gabled roof covered with black tiles. The ridge line is oriented east-west. The eastern gable has a window band, which contains a rectangular wooden cross window with glazing bars. Above the window a concrete lintel has been installed. The top gable has vertical wooden boarding. The roof has a small overhang with wind braces.
The north gable has a rectangular wooden door at the far right. The northern roof slope is intersected just below the ridge by a square brick chimney.
The western gable has the same window as the east gable. In the ridge of the west gable a small round window with three glazing bars has also been installed. The gable is closed off by a roof overhang with wind braces.
The south gable has a window as in the gables. On this side there is also a brick extension of rectangular plan under a set-back gabled roof with black tiles.
