Dokterswoning, volgens gedenksteen in 1887 gebouwd in eclectische stijl; de woning staat op een kleine verhoging in het landschap.
Omschrijving
Eén bouwlaag hoog met mezzanino en kapverdieping, op vrijwel vierkante plattegrond met een enkel aanbouwtje. Opgetrokken uit roodbruine baksteen, siermetselwerk in voorgevel. Voorgevel is een symmetrische lijstgevel met risalerende middenpartij met topgevel met dwarskapje en balkon. Op de begane grond in het midden dubbele houten paneeldeur met getoogd bovenlicht. Aan weerszijden twee houten T-vensters met getoogd bovenlicht; siermetselwerk boven vensters. Mezzanino met horizontale vensters. Boven ingang houten balkon met gietijzeren spijlen; klassieke consoles. In topgeveltje dubbele balkondeur met bovenlicht, siermetselwerk aan weerszijden en in de top de naam "Boerhaave"; overhangende daklijst met makelaar en dezelfde spitse versiering op de hoeken en in het midden van deze daklijst.
De zijgevels zijn topgevels. Achtergevel is eeneenvoudige langsgevel, met onder andere een kleine nieuwe aanbouw en schuiframen. Het zadeldak en het dwarskapje zijn gedekt met gesmoorde kruispannen; overhangende daklijsten.
In het interieur onder meer tegelvloer en klassieke, gepleisterde rondbogen in de hal.

Woning van cultuurhistorische en architectuurhistorische waarde; van belang vanwege ensemblewaarden en gaafheid van met name exterieur.

Description
One storey high with mezzanine and roof storey, on virtually square ground plan with a single outbuilding. Constructed in reddish-brown brick, ornamental brickwork in front facade. Front facade is a symmetrical cornice-topped facade with projecting central section with stepped gable with transverse roof and balcony. On the ground floor in the middle double wooden panelled door with segmental arch fanlight. On either side two wooden T-windows with segmental arch fanlight; ornamental brickwork above windows. Mezzanine with horizontal windows. Above entrance wooden balcony with cast-iron railings; classical consoles. In small pediment gable double glazed doors with fanlight, ornamental brickwork on either side and in the top the name "Boerhaave"; overhanging cornice with tie rod and same pointed decoration on the corners and in the middle of this cornice line.
The side facades are stepped gables. Rear facade is a simple long facade, with among other things a small new outbuilding and sash windows. The gabled roof and the transverse roof are covered with smoked cross tiles; overhanging cornice lines.
In the interior among others tiled floor and classical, rendered segmental arches in the hall.
