Inleiding
VASTE BRUG van het balkbrugtype over de Lustige Maar gebouwd in 1929 door aannemer R.R. Wigboldus (Ten Boer) in opdracht van het Gemeentebestuur van Ten Boer. De brug vertoont kenmerken van de Amsterdamse School en is gebouwd op landhoofden afkomstig van een oudere brug uit 1903. De massieve en hooggelegen betonnen brug ligt centraal in het dorp Woltersum.
Omschrijving
BALKBRUG uitgevoerd in beton met een onderbouw van gewapend betonbalken en platen waarover een rijdek van asfalt is gelegd. Het brugdek rust op uit 1903 stammende gemetselde landhoofden. Aan weerszijden zijn dichte, gepleisterde betonnen brugleuningen geplaatst met opengewerkte decoratieve bovenrand die rusten op een gepleisterd basement.

FIXED BRIDGE of the beam bridge type over the Lustige Maar built in 1929 by contractor R.R. Wigboldus (Ten Boer) on behalf of the Municipal Administration of Ten Boer. The bridge shows characteristics of the Amsterdam School and was built on abutments from an older bridge dating from 1903. The massive and elevated concrete bridge is centrally located in the village of Woltersum.
Description
BEAM BRIDGE executed in concrete with a substructure of reinforced concrete beams and slabs over which an asphalt running surface has been laid. The bridge deck rests on masonry abutments dating from 1903. On both sides, solid, plastered concrete bridge railings have been placed with open-worked decorative top edge resting on a plastered base.
