Herenhuis, rond 1892 gebouwd in eclectisch-renaissancistische stijl.
Omschrijving
Herenhuis op vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond, twee verdiepingen met trapgevel en kelderverdieping. Voorgevel is een roodbruine bakstenen trapgevel, voorzien van gepleisterde speklagen, blokken, decoraties rond vensters en deur, dekplaten en gevelbekroning; siermetselwerk onder en/of boven de vensters.
Drie traveeën brede gevel, vanaf de plint geleed door gemetselde pilasters. In de plint kleine vensters van kelder.
Ingangspartij in rechter travee: zeer rijk uitgesneden houten voordeur in nis, omlijst door gemetselde pilasters en bekroond met inspringend hoofdgestel, vlakdecoratie met onder meer voluten en daarboven venster op geprofileerde lijst met geaccentueerd, dik kozijn en brede middenstijl. Overige twee traveeën met houten schuiframen. Op verdieping drie vensters, boogvormig afgesloten met schelpversiering in boogtrommels.
Middentravee voorzien van balkon met balustrade met balusters en geprofileerde consoles.
Trapgeveldeel met centraal drielichtvenster met getoogde boog; bovenste trap bekroond door gebogen fronton, met daaronder gepleisterde cartouche, geaccentueerd door obelisken op zijtreden; op onderste treden eveneens obelisken; trappen gedekt met geprofileerde platen.
In interieur onder meer origineel trappenhuis. Sobere gepleisterde achtergevel met houten serre.

Herenhuis, van cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde en van belang vanwege ensemblewaarden.

Town house on an almost rectangular ground plan, two storeys with stepped gable and basement storey. Front facade is a reddish-brown brick stepped gable, provided with rendered joint bands, blocks, decorations around windows and door, coping stones and gable crest; ornamental masonry below and/or above the windows.
Three-bay wide facade, from the plinth articulated by brick pilasters. In the plinth small windows of the basement.
Entrance unit in right bay: very richly carved wooden front door in niche, framed by brick pilasters and crowned with a recessed main entablature, flat decoration featuring among others volutes and above it window on profiled moulding with accentuated, thick frame and wide central post. Remaining two bays with wooden sash windows. On the storey three windows, arched at top with shell decoration in the arch barrels.
Central bay provided with balcony with balustrade with balusters and profiled consoles.
Stepped gable section with central three-light window with recessed arch; upper step crowned by curved pediment, with rendered cartouche beneath, accentuated by obelisks on flanking steps; on lower steps likewise obelisks; steps covered with profiled stones.
In interior among others original staircase. Sober rendered rear facade with wooden conservatory.
