Omschrijving
TUINMUUR. Ten zuiden van de aanleg een rechthoekige moestuin met een achttiende-eeuwse bakstenen moestuinmuur geleed door pilasters en voorzien van ophangijzers ten behoeve van fruitgeleiding. In een nieuwer gedeelte van de tuinmuur een gevelsteen met de inscriptie 'De eerste steen is gelegd door H.J. en C.J. Doude van Troostwijk 17/1/1868'. Oorspronkelijk behoorde de moestuin tot de buitenplaats Sterreschans, maar in 1942 is de noordelijke helft, afgescheiden door middel van een houten schutting, bij de buitenplaats Rupelmonde gevoegd.

Description
GARDEN WALL. South of the layout a rectangular kitchen garden with an eighteenth-century brick kitchen garden wall articulated by pilasters and provided with hanging irons for fruit training. In a newer section of the garden wall a facade stone with the inscription 'The first stone was laid by H.J. and C.J. Doude van Troostwijk 17/1/1868'. Originally the kitchen garden belonged to the country estate Sterreschans, but in 1942 the northern half, separated by means of a wooden fence, was added to the country estate Rupelmonde.
