Omschrijving
DUIVENTOREN. Voor het oostelijke bouwhuis staat een vierkante zeventiende-eeuwse duiventoren opgetrokken uit baksteen en IJsselsteentjes en bestaande uit twee bouwlagen met hoge borstwering onder een met blauwe Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt tentdak. Op het dak een vierkante, houten duivenkast met vier vliegopeningen per zijde. Op de begane grond is de getoogde ingang met aan weerszijden twee ronde ramen. Aan de achterzijde vensters met traliewerk. Deze vierkant gemetselde duiventoren is een vrij uniek exemplaar, om zijn vorm (één van de twaalf in Nederland) en zijn ouderdom (vroeg voorbeeld uit het midden van de zeventiende eeuw gezien het baksteen verband). Sterk gerestaureerd in 1952.

Description
DOVECOTE. In front of the eastern service building stands a square seventeenth-century dovecote erected in brick and IJsselsteentjes and consisting of two storeys with high breastwork under a tent roof covered with blue Old Dutch tiles. On the roof a square wooden dove house with four flight openings per side. On the ground floor the arched entrance with two round windows on either side. Windows with grillwork on the rear side. This square brick dovecote is a fairly unique specimen, for its form (one of twelve in the Netherlands) and its age (an early example from the middle of the seventeenth century given the brick bond). Heavily restored in 1952.
