Inleiding
Nederlands Hervormde kerk met fronttoren en aangebouwde consistorie, in 1942 gebouwd ter vervanging van de door oorlogsgeweld verwoeste voorganger.
Ontworpen door de architect J. Roodenburgh in de architectuur van de Delftse School. Gelegen in het centrum van het dorp op een ommuurd terrein. Fronttoren aan westzijde van zaalkerk en consistorie in noordoosthoek, haaks op kerkgebouw.
Omschrijving
Vrijwel rechthoekig kerkgebouw met vierkante fronttoren en rechthoekige consistorie.
Kerkgebouw één verdieping hoog met zadeldak, gedekt met rode hollandse pannen; consistorie idem. Geheel opgetrokken uit rode handvormbaksteen. Stalen kozijnen, veelal met glas-in-lood.
Aan westgevel de toren voorzien van ingangspartij in getoogde nis net dubbele houten deuren met visgraatmotief; natuurstenen trapje; boven ingang rond stalen venster met cirkelvormige roedeverdeling; kleine verticale halfronde venstertjes. Bovenin toren (rondom) galmgaten met daarboven uurwerken; op hoeken waterspuwers. Aan bovenzijde afgesloten door opengewerkte attiek; slanke, vierkante spits gedekt met koper.
Aan noordzijde een aankapping aan de voet van de toren met een ingang met houten deur met visgraatmotief en natuurstenen trapje; gedenksteen. Aan zuidzijde van de toren eveneens een aanbouwtje met houten deur met visgraatmotief en natuurstenen trapje.
De - vrijwel indentieke - zijgevels van de zaalkerk met gemetselde steunberen; twee vensters met gemetselde "middenstijl"; drie door de gootlijst opgaande raampartijen, uitlopend in een kleine tuitgevel met dwarskapje gedekt met rode pannen; aangekapt uitbouwtje met venstertjes.
Achtergevel vrijwel blinde gevel; getoogde houten deur met visgraatmotief; rond stalen venster met glas-in-lood.
Consistorie door tussenlid met kerk verbonden. In tussenlid ingang met houten portiek en houten deur met glasruiten en zijlichten; natuurstenen trapje. Westelijke langsgevel met vensters met stalen kozijnen en draairamen, roedeverdelingen en glas-in-lood. Door de gootlijst opgaand gevelvlak met tuitgeveltje, voorzien van vensters met daarboven, in top,rond stalen venster; klein dwarskapje.
Noordgevel is blinde topgevel met uitgebouwd rookkanaal met schoorsteen in siermetselwerk.
Oostgevel is idem westgevel; achterzijde tussenlid met houten deur en kleine venstertjes.
In interieur onder meer in de kerk paraboolvormige, geheel betimmerde, houten kapconstructie; houten planken vloer; houten kerkbanken; gepleisterde muren.

Almost rectangular church building with square front tower and rectangular vestry.
Church building one storey high with gabled roof, covered with red Dutch tiles; vestry likewise. Entirely constructed of red handmade bricks. Steel window frames, mostly with stained glass.
On the west facade the tower provided with entrance section in a recessed arch with double wooden doors with herringbone motif; natural stone steps; above the entrance a round steel window with circular glazing bars; small vertical semi-circular windowpanes. At the top of the tower (all around) louver openings with clocks above them; gargoyles at the corners. Closed off at the top by an openwork attic; slender, square spire covered with copper.
On the north side a lean-to at the base of the tower with an entrance with wooden door with herringbone motif and natural stone steps; commemorative stone. On the south side of the tower likewise a small extension with wooden door with herringbone motif and natural stone steps.
The - virtually identical - side facades of the hall church with mortared buttresses; two windows with mortared "central mullion"; three window sections rising above the gutter line, ending in a small spout gable with transverse roof covered with red tiles; an attached small extension with small windows.
Rear facade almost blank facade; recessed wooden door with herringbone motif; round steel window with stained glass.
Vestry connected to church by an intermediate section. In the intermediate section an entrance with wooden portico and wooden door with glass panes and sidelights; natural stone steps. Western long facade with windows with steel frames and casement windows, glazing bars and stained glass. Facade section rising above the gutter line with small spout gable, provided with windows and above, at the top, a round steel window; small transverse roof.
North facade is a blank gable with an extended flue pipe with chimney in decorative brickwork.
East facade is the same as the west facade; rear of intermediate section with wooden door and small windows.
In the interior, notably in the church, a parabolic, entirely panelled, wooden roof truss structure; wooden plank floor; wooden church pews; plastered walls.
Valuation
Well-preserved church with tower and vestry of architectural and cultural-historical value.
