Inleiding
De twee JACHTPALEN uit 1878 markeren de grens tussen de jachtgebieden van de landgoederen Weldam in Goor en Twickel in Ambt Delden, die in dat jaar is vastgesteld.
De palen staan recht tegenover elkaar aan weerszijden van de Ulkenweg. Omschrijving
Twee eenvoudige rechthoekige palen van Bentheimer zandsteen met afgeronde bovenkant, beide voorzien van het jaartal 1878. Op de lange paal aan de noordzijde van de Ulkenweg is de naam Twickel en op de kleinere paal aan de zuidzijde is de naam Weldam ingehakt.
Waardering Twee jachtpalen van cultuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege:
- de oorspronkelijke functie als begrenzing van de jachtgebieden van Weldam en Twickel
