Omschrijving
Het TOEGANGSHEK markeert het begin van de oprijlaan naar hoeve Het Stepelerveld.
Het hek bestaat uit twee bakstenen pijlers, waartussen twee aan de bovenzijde concave smeedijzeren vleugels en aan weerszijden twee concave hekken afgesloten door een wang. De vierkante bakstenen hekpijlers rusten op een gestuct basement. De afgeschuinde hoeken worden aan de boven- en onderkant afgesloten door een natuurstenen element. De kolommen worden bekroond door een zandstenen fantasiekapiteel - met consoles als beeldelementen - waarboven aan iedere zijde een rondboog met boogtrommel in reliëf geplaatst is. Smeedijzeren sierornamenten bekronen het fantasiekapiteel. Ook het hekwerk is voorzien van smeedijzeren siermotieven, waarbij enkele details en de gehele bovenzijde zijn beschilderd met goudverf. De hekken zijn aan de onderzijde iets ingekort.
Het toegangshek is van cultuur- en architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege:
- de functionele en ruimtelijke relatie met de overige onderdelen van het boerderijcomplex
- de architectonische waarde en de rijke detaillering van het geheel
- de beeldbepalende ligging van het hek aan het begin van de oprijlaan
- de redelijke mate van gaafheid.

Description
The ACCESS GATE marks the beginning of the driveway to the farm Het Stepelerveld.
The gate consists of two brick pillars, between which two wrought-iron wings that are concave at the top and on either side two concave gates closed by a wing. The square brick gate pillars rest on a stuccoed basement. The chamfered corners are closed at the top and bottom by a natural stone element. The columns are crowned by a sandstone fantasy capital - with consoles as sculptural elements - above which a round arch with arch drum in relief is placed on each side. Wrought-iron ornamental details crown the fantasy capital. The gatework is also provided with wrought-iron decorative motifs, with some details and the entire top painted with gold paint. The gates are slightly shortened at the bottom.
The access gate is of cultural and architectural-historical and urban planning significance because of:
