Inleiding
Traditioneel vormgegeven BOERDERIJ VAN HET HALLEHUISTYPE behorend bij landgoed Almelo, op fraai erf met een verbouwde kapschuur, drie later in stijl bijgebouwde schuren, een verbouwde hooiberg en een boomgaard. De boerderij is in 1857 gebouwd. De bijgebouwen zijn voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang maar vormen samen met de boerderij een waardevol erf. De rechter zijgevel van de boerderij is opnieuw gemetseld met de oorspronkelijke stenen.
Het boerenerf ligt aan de westelijke grens van de bebouwde kom van Almelo.
Omschrijving
De boerderij van het hallehuistype is in verschillende kleuren baksteen onder een zadeldak met wolfeinden, windveren, een uilebord en rode Hollandse pannen opgetrokken. De vensters zijn geplaatst onder strekken of hanekammen. In de voorgevel (Z) een zandstenen geprofileerde lijst boven de deur met zesruits bovenlicht, de twee vijftienruits schuifvensters en twee kleine vensters. In de zandstenen lijst is een steen aangebracht met het wapen van Huis Almelo - een kroon, de initialen R.L. van de familie Rechteren Limpurg -en het bouwjaar. De linker zijgevel (W) is geleed door twee vierruits vensters, rechtgesloten staldeuren en getoogde stalvensters met gietijzeren roedenverdeling, boven rollagen. In de achtergevel een getoogde baanderdeur tussen twee rondboogvensters en drie staldeuren. In het voorhuis zijn onder meer het balkenplafond, de 'bloempot'tegels in de schouw, de oorspronkelijke deuren en de ingebouwde vitrinekast bewaard gebleven.
Het bedrijfsgedeelte met deel, stallen en hooizolder is nog geheel in de oorspronkelijke staat, met een klinkerbestrating op de vloer.
Waardering
De boerderij van het hallehuistype is van cultuur-, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege:
- de ruimtelijke en functionele samenhang met de overige onderdelen van het landgoed van kasteel Almelo
- de vormgeving van de voorgevel
- het fraaie erf
- de beeldbepalende ligging aan de rand van Almelo

Introduction
Traditionally designed FARMHOUSE OF THE HALL HOUSE TYPE belonging to the Almelo estate, on a fine farm with a converted cart shed, three later conforming barns, a converted hay barn and an orchard. The farmhouse was built in 1857. The outbuildings are of minor importance for protection but together with the farmhouse form a valuable farm complex. The right side facade of the farmhouse has been newly built with the original stones.
The farm lies at the western edge of the built-up area of Almelo.
Description
The hall house type farmhouse is built in different coloured brick under a gabled roof with half-hipped ends, wind braces, a gutter board and red Dutch tiles. The windows are placed under stretches or cockcombs. In the front facade (S) a profiled sandstone ledge above the door with six-light fanlight, the two fifteen-light sash windows and two small windows. In the sandstone ledge a stone has been placed with the coat of arms of the House of Almelo - a crown, the initials R.L. of the Rechteren Limpurg family - and the building year. The left side facade (W) is articulated by two four-light windows, flush-closed stable doors and arched stable windows with cast-iron glazing bars, above roll courses. In the rear facade an arched barn door between two round-arch windows and three stable doors. In the main house, among other things, the beam ceiling, the 'flower pot' tiles in the hearth, the original doors and the built-in display cabinet have been preserved.
The operational section with threshing floor, stalls and hay loft is still entirely in the original condition, with a clinker surface on the floor.

The hall house type farmhouse is of cultural, architectural-historical and urban planning importance because of:
