Omschrijving bij onderdeel 28:
TOEGANGSHEK ORANJERIE behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel. Laat 18de-eeuws toegangshek aan de westzijde van de oranjerietuin bestaande uit dubbele smeedijzeren spijlen hekwerk met aan weerszijden twee open hekstijlen en voluutvormige zijstukken. De hekstijlen hebben een invulling van ornament in voluutvormen. Het hek vormde oorspronkelijk de afsluiting van de Kooidijk bij het rondeel. In ca. 1990 is het hek op de huidige plaats gezet.

Description of component 28:
ACCESS GATE ORANGERY belonging to the country estate Twickel. Late 18th-century access gate on the west side of the orangery garden consisting of double forged iron spade fence work with on either side two open gate posts and volute-shaped side pieces. The gate posts have a filling of ornament in volute forms. The gate originally formed the enclosure of the Kooidijk at the roundel. In circa 1990 the gate was placed at its current location.
