Omschrijving bij onderdeel 24:
PARKHUT behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel. Gelegen in de parkaanleg ten zuiden van het kasteel een uit baksteen opgetrokken kleine woning van één bouwlaag hoog met vliering op vierkante grondslag gebouwd in de stijl van een Engelse cottage. Het met leien gedekte zadeldak heeft wolfseinden en overstek aan de zijkanten en op de nok een rechthoekige gemetselde schoorsteen met natuurstenen kap. In de voorgevel (noord) twee rechthoekige uitbouwtjes beide onder een met leien gedekt, concaaf gebogen schilddak, waartussen zich een venster bevindt. In de linker aanbouw een portiek met paneeldeur voorzien van een gietijzeren sierrooster. De zijkant van de rechter aanbouw heeft een zandstenen kozijn in de vorm van een Latijns kruis. De achtergevel (zuid) heeft naast een met leien gedekte luifel, een dubbele glasdeur met roedenverdeling en bovenlicht. Rechts daarvan een dubbel zesruitsvenster met luiken in de Twickelerkleuren zwart en wit. In de zijgevels twee vensters als de laatst genoemde. Inwendig een natuurstenen, eenvoudig geprofileerde schoorsteenmantel met betegeling. Op de kaart van Hartmeijer (1794) staat de voorloper van de parkhut al aangegeven, deze wordt tussen 1865 en 1871 ingrijpend verbouwd tot de huidige gedaante mogelijk naar ontwerp van Robert Hesketh. Restauratie 1995/96.

PARK HUT belonging to the country estate Twickel. Located in the park layout south of the castle a small dwelling built of brick of one storey high with attic on a square ground plan built in the style of an English cottage. The gabled roof covered with slates has half-hipped ends and overhang on the sides and on the ridge a rectangular brick chimney with natural stone cap. In the front façade (north) two rectangular projecting extensions both under a concavely curved hipped roof covered with slates, between which a window is located. In the left extension a porch with panel door provided with a cast-iron decorative grille. The side of the right extension has a sandstone window frame in the form of a Latin cross. The rear façade (south) has next to a roof covered with slates, a double glazed door with glazing bars and fanlight. To the right of it a double six-pane window with shutters in the Twickel colours black and white. In the side façades two windows like the latter mentioned. Internally a natural stone, simply profiled chimney mantle with tiling. On the map of Hartmeijer (1794) the predecessor of the park hut is already shown, this is extensively altered between 1865 and 1871 to its present form possibly after a design by Robert Hesketh. Restoration 1995/96.
