Omschrijving bij onderdeel 23:
HEK RONDOM PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel. Langs de Twickeler Laan, aan de oostzijde van het park strekt zich een monumentaal smeedijzeren spijlenhek uit, dat in 1891 door de firma Bayliss, Jones & Bayliss uit Londen werd geleverd. Op twee plaatsen hogere rijk versierde toegangshekken, bestaande uit beweegbare vleugels tussen hekpijlers. Op verzoek van Petzold werd het hek niet te zwaar uitgevoerd om de doorkijk van het park naar de rest van de buitenplaats niet te verstoren. Deels gerestaureerd. Het smeedijzeren hek gaat over in een houten palen afrastering rondom het gehele kasteelpark.

FENCE AROUND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Twickel. Along the Twickeler Laan, on the east side of the park extends a monumental wrought-iron spade fence, which was supplied in 1891 by the firm Bayliss, Jones & Bayliss from London. At two locations higher richly decorated entrance gates, consisting of moveable wings between fence posts. At the request of Petzold the fence was not made too heavy in order not to obstruct the view through the park to the rest of the country estate. Partly restored. The wrought-iron fence transitions into a wooden paling fence around the entire castle park.
