Omschrijving bij onderdeel 8:
BRUG OVER GRACHT ACHTERZIJDE behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel. In oorsprong 18de-eeuwse platte brug bestaande uit houten planken met een klein ophaaldeel waarvoor het noodzakelijke tandwielmechanisme aan de zijkant van de brug is bevestigd; gedragen door houten jukken en aan de parkzijde door een bakstenen keermuur met hardstenen dekplaat. Op de dekplaat aan weerszijden een 19de-eeuwse gietijzeren kelkvormige vaas en een lage hardstenen sokkel met een lantaarn erop. De brug is voorzien van een eenvoudige smeedijzeren leuning.

Description of component 8:
BRIDGE OVER MOAT REAR SIDE belonging to the country estate Twickel. Originally an 18th-century flat bridge consisting of wooden planks with a small lifting section for which the necessary gear mechanism is attached to the side of the bridge; carried by wooden yokes and on the park side by a brick retaining wall with sandstone coping. On the coping on either side a 19th-century cast-iron chalice-shaped vase and a low sandstone base with a lantern on top. The bridge is provided with a simple wrought-iron railing.
