Inleiding
Tuinhuis gebouwd in Ambachtelijk-traditionele stijl in de tuin van landhuis Overcinge. Het tuinhuisje is gebouwd rond 1905-1910 in opdracht van Mr. Johannes Linthorst Homan (nakomeling van een bekende Drentse familie die van 1904-1917 commissaris der Koningin is geweest).
Omschrijving
Vijfkantig TUINHUIS met inzwenkend tentdak met loden bekroning; staafankers onder de dakrand. Bakstenen opbouw met plint; stoep met natuurstenen treden en wangen; dubbele deur met gekoppelde vierruits bovenlichten. Op de gemetselde plint ligt een zandstenen waterlijst waarop aan alle zijden de houten kruiskozijnen voorzien van onderluiken en gekoppelde vierruits bovenlichten en geplaatst onder een korfboog met aanzet- en sluitsteen.

Description
Pentagonal GARDEN HOUSE with inward sloping tent roof with lead crown; staff anchors under the roof edge. Brick construction with plinth; step with natural stone treads and sides; double door with coupled four-pane fanlights. On the brick plinth lies a sandstone drip moulding on which on all sides the wooden cross windows provided with shutters and coupled four-pane fanlights are placed under a basket arch with setting and key stones.
