Omschrijving
Het TOEGANGSHEK van de begraafplaats is voorzien van gietijzeren doodssymbolen in de posten en de florale motieven in de zijvleugels. De draaibare vleugels zijn aan de bovenzijde recht afgesloten. In de deurposten zijn van onder naar boven de volgende symbolen gegoten: twee gekruiste omgekeerde brandende fakkels, twee gekruiste zeisen, de slang die zichzelf in de staart bijt en de gevleugelde zandloper. Op de posten staat de doodslamp.
Waardering
Het toegangshek is van cultuur-, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege:

The ENTRANCE GATE of the cemetery is equipped with cast iron death symbols in the posts and floral motifs in the side wings. The hinged wings are straight at the top. In the door posts the following symbols are cast from bottom to top: two crossed inverted burning torches, two crossed scythes, the serpent biting its own tail and the winged hourglass. On the posts stands the death lamp.
