Omschrijving
Gemetselde TOEGANGSBRUG met verzorgd vormgegeven gietijzeren TOEGANGSHEK, ontworpen in 1832 door Jaane van der Wielen. Het geheel bestaat uit een nagenoeg halfrond-overwelfde bakstenen dam met natuurstenen dagkanten, met in het hart een gietijzeren spijlenhek bestaande uit vier draaibare en twee vaste vleugels tussen vier opengewerkte hekstijlen; geprofileerde bekroning met doodssymboliek in de vorm van twee doodshoofden met knekels en de opschrifen 'MEMEMTO' en 'MORI' en twee cirkelvormige staartbijtende slangen met daarbinnen een vlinder.

Description
Brick ACCESS BRIDGE with carefully designed cast-iron ACCESS GATE, designed in 1832 by Jaane van der Wielen. The whole consists of a nearly semi-cylindrical-vaulted brick dam with natural stone arrises, with in the centre a cast-iron spear-head fence consisting of four movable and two fixed wings between four openwork gate piers; profiled coping with death symbolism in the form of two skulls with crossbones and the inscriptions 'MEMENTO' and 'MORI' and two circular tail-biting snakes with a butterfly inside.
Valuation Access bridge with cast-iron gate work of general importance:
