Facade construction with hard stone plinth, casements and drip moulding; plastered corner pilasters; brick courses and a broad moulded gutter on corbels. Front facade with projecting structure with plastered corner pilasters and a projecting central section. Central section with hard stone stoep; lintel with dividing colonette; porch with glazed tiles on the walls; Art Nouveau carved work in window frame wood of the Art Nouveau panel door (ornamental railings); fanlight. On either side of the porch a threefold coupled rectangular closed window (originally with roller shutters) under lintel and decorative relieving arches as well as a hard stone weathering course and casements below the windows. Above the porch a balcony resting on consoles with renewed railings; gabled roof dormer built up with clamp pieces; wooden boarding in gable field; weathervanes and mailer; casement doors with needle and fanlight. On either side of the dormer two simple zinc roof dormers. The left side facade is partly plastered and has among other things a rectangular closed sash window under a segmental arch and with a hard stone weathering course; two rectangular closed sash windows (presumably of later date). The fine brickwork resumes at the T-window of the kitchen window; cellar window with anti-theft bars. The right side facade has three rectangular closed windows and two T-windows, all under segmental arch (springing and closing stone). The corridor has a granite floor; tiled wainscoting; panel doors with trim. The original show room with black marble fireplace, chimney breast and ceiling with stucco work featuring peacock feather motif. The barn has a heavy structure with a collar-tie truss consisting of a tie-beam truss on which the loft is attached and upon it obliquely positioned a braced collar-tie truss.
