Inleiding
Boerderij van hallehuistype met een dwarsdeel. De boerderij in Ambachtelijk-tradionele stijl gebouwd heeft een jaartalsteen 1885 in de krimp met de initialen E.J.. Bij de bouw zijn oudere onderdelen (onder meer gebinten) gebruikt. De bescherming richt zich op de hoofdvorm (met uitzondering van het woonhuisgedeelte aan de achterzijde) en het interieur i.c. woonkamer.
Omschrijving
Boerderij opgetrokken in baksteen en gedekt door een afgewolfd rietdak; schoorsteen in de nokhoek. Woonhuis met gepleisterde plint; voorgevel met asymmetrische indeling waarin drie rechtgesloten zesruits vensters, een recht gesloten opgeklampte deur met twee-ruits bovenlicht; staafankers en twee recht gesloten twee-ruits zoldervensters; onder hetoverkragende rietdak een gegolfde lijst. Oostgevel met keldervenster voorzien van diefijzers; deur met twee-ruits bovenlicht; zesruits schuifvenster; krimp met vlechting en halfrond gietijzeren stalvenster. De westelijke gevel van het woonhuis heeft een rechtgesloten (aardappel-)keldervenster; klein schuifraam (voor de spinde) en twee hoog geplaatste (later toegevoegde) kleine bedstederamen. De deels aangepaste schuurgevel heeft aan de westkant een getoogde baander in het vlak van de gevel (waardoor een opwipping van het rietdak wordt veroorzaakt); in de west- en oostgevel enkele mestdeuren en stalvensters.
INTERIEUR: Het voorhuis heeft een geheel oorspronkelijke woonkamer met houten vloer, deuren en vlakke beddewand met kasten gehoutverfd, betegelde buitengevel waarin de oorspronkelijke haardpartij met plaat, eenvoudig omlijste schouw. Onder de beddewand een aardappelkelder toegankelijk via de deel. Vanuit de kamer is de opkamer bereikbaar.
Waardering
Boerderij van architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege de vormgeving en materiaalgebruik (met in het bijzonder aandacht voor het interieur) alsmede vanwege de betekenis als hoofdelement van het complex en de ligging ten opzichte van de overige bebouwing.

Farmhouse of hall-house type with a transverse section. The farmhouse built in craftsmanlike-traditional style has a date-stone 1885 in the gable corner with the initials E.J.. The protection is directed at the principal form (with the exception of the residential part at the rear) and the interior, namely the living room.
Description
Farmhouse built in brick and covered by a curved reed roof; chimney in the ridge corner. Residential part with plastered plinth; front facade with asymmetrical layout in which three closed six-light windows, a closed bolted door with two-light fanlight; staff anchors and two closed two-light attic windows; beneath the overhanging reed roof a corrugated moulding. East facade with cellar window equipped with theft-bars; door with two-light fanlight; six-light sash window; gable corner with wattle and half-round cast-iron stable window. The western facade of the residential part has a closed (potato) cellar window; small sash window (for the spindle) and two high-placed (later added) small bedstead windows. The partly adapted barn facade has on the west side an arched barn door in the plane of the facade (causing a warping of the reed roof); in the west and east facades several manure doors and stable windows.
INTERIOR: The front house has a wholly original living room with wooden floor, doors and flat bedstead wall with wooden-painted cupboards, tiled exterior wall in which the original hearth section with plate, simply framed fireplace. Beneath the bedstead wall a potato cellar accessible via the threshing floor. From the room the upper chamber is accessible.
Valuation
Farmhouse of architectural-historical and urban planning importance by virtue of the design and material use (with particular attention to the interior) as well as by virtue of its significance as principal element of the complex and its location in relation to the other buildings.
