Inleiding
In Chaletstijl in 1907 gebouwde vrijstaande VILLA genaamd Huize Eyckendael.
De vrijstaande villa is gesitueerd in een parkachtige tuin.
De bijbouwen zijn uitgesloten van bescherming.
Omschrijving
De villa heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, telt twee bouwlagen en is gedekt met zadeldak met leien in Maasdekking. De plint is uitgevoerd in breuksteen geaccentueerd met een band hardsteen. Optrek in baksteen. Enkele hardstenen venster- en deuromlijstingen deels met hierin uitgesneden decoratieve vrouwenhoofdjes. Vensters met decoratief gelede bovenlichten. Gevel oostzijde: linkerdeel vooruitspringend. Erker in de eerste bouwlaag met hierop een balkon. Balkon met houten balkonhek. Deur in gevel noordzijde in terugliggend deel onder een houten luifel met leien dak, deels rustend op een houten kolom. Bij de deur een gevelsteen met jaartalaanduiding. In dit geveldeel eveneens een erker met hierop een balkon. Gevel zuidzijde: naar voren springend linkergedeelte, en terrasdeuren met hardstenen omlijsting. Eveneens een erker met balkon. In de tweede bouwlaag vakwerkconstructies, deels wit gepleisterd. Gevel westzijde : topgevel met leien beschot en in de tweede bouwlaag een venster met een kleine luifel gedekt met leien.

Deze vrijstaande villa is van streekgebonden architectuurhistorische waarde. Daarnaast is het object van belang wegens de esthetische kwaliteit van het ontwerp, het bijzondere materiaalgebruik en de ornamentiek. De villa bezit ensemblewaarde op grond van zijn situering in een parkachtige tuin. Het pand is tenslotte van algemeen belang op grond van de architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur en de bovenregionale zeldzaamheid.
