Dubbele KALKOVEN gebouwd in Kunradersteen en baksteen.
De kalkoven is tegen een helling gesitueerd in het buitengebied van de kern Ubachsberg in de gemeente Voerendaal.
Omschrijving
Kalkoven met twee ovenmonden. Het front van de oven is vervaardigd uit Kunradersteen; de ovenmond in Kunradersteen en veldbrandsteen. De kalkoven is voorzien van steunberen in veldbrandsteen. Voor de ovenmond is een overkapping aanwezig van ongeveer drie meter diep, hiervan is het gewelf gemaakt uit veldbrandsteen.
Waardering
De kalkoven bezit cultuurhistorische waarden als bijzondere uitdrukking van een technische ontwikkeling. De kalkoven bezit architectuurhistorische waarden wegens de toepassing van Kunradersteen als bouwmateriaal.
