Inleiding
KALKOVENS gebouwd in Kunradersteen en baksteen. De kalkovens zijn gebouwd tegen de helling van de Putberg in het buitengebied van de kern Ubachsberg in de gemeente Voerendaal. De kalkovens zijn verborgen achter de loodsen van een voormalig transportbedrijf.
Omschrijving
Zestal kalkovens. Het front van de ovens is vervaardigd uit Kunradersteen. Ovenmond: schachtoven acht meter diep; chamotsteen, drie-en-een-halve meter doorsnee, taps toelopend. Steunberen in de vorm van rechthoekige kolommen gebouwd in veldbrandsteen.
