Omschrijving
Inleiding
STOLPBOERDERIJ met kenmerken van het Noordhollandse type, gesitueerd aan de oostzijde van het Handvastwater met de noklijn evenwijdig aan de straat. De stolpboerderij dateert waarschijnlijk uit het derde kwart van de 19de eeuw.
N.B. De rechterzijde van de boerderij is gewijzigd, evenwel zonder het monumentale karakter van de boerderij te schaden.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde stolpboerderij onder schilddak met in hoofdzaak zwarte en rode Hollandse pan. In de top heeft het schilddak een blauwe Hollandse pan.
De inwendige houten draagconstructie bestaat uit een enkel vierkant met vier pijlers en een dekbalkgebint. Aan de noordzijde van het vierkant bevindt zich de dars, aan de oost- en zuidzijde de koestal (met grup) en aan de westzijde (voorzijde) de woning.
Het muurwerk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen boven een gecementeerde plint. Op diverse plaatsen in het muurwerk zijn de schieters van de muurankers zichtbaar.
De asymmetrische voorgevel (W) is hoger dan de aansluitende linker- (N) en rechtergevel (Z) en heeft een houten kroonlijst. De voorgevel heeft een breedte van acht vensterassen. De eerste as bevat een dubbele houten deur met twee glaspanelen. De tweede tot en met de vijfde as bevatten houten schuifvensters met een zesruitsroedenverdeling. De zesde as bevat een houten paneeldeur met glaspaneel en bovenlicht. De overige twee assen bevatten getoogde koestalvensters met een ijzeren roedenverdeling.
Op de verdieping zet de vierde as zich voort in het venster van de houten dakkapel. De dakkapel heeft aan weerszijden een houten wang en een overstekend zadeldak dat bedekt is met een zwarte Hollandse pan. Het zadeldak heeft geschulpte houten windveren, alsmede een houten makelaar.
De linkerzijde (N) heeft ter rechterzijde een origineel houten schuifvenster met zesruitsroedenverdeling.
De achterzijde (O) heeft ter linkerzijde een originele houten deur met glaspaneel en bovenlicht.
Waardering
De stolpboerderij is van algemeen belang uit architectuur- en cultuurhistorisch oogpunt als vrijwel gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van landelijke bouwkunst in een stedelijke context uit het derde kwart van de 19de eeuw.

STOLP FARMHOUSE with characteristics of the North Holland type, situated on the east side of the Handvastwater with the ridge line parallel to the street. The stolp farmhouse probably dates from the third quarter of the 19th century.
N.B. The right side of the farmhouse has been altered, however without damaging the monumental character of the farmhouse.
Description
Stolp farmhouse built on a rectangular ground plan under a hipped roof with mainly black and red Dutch tiles. At the apex the hipped roof has a blue Dutch tile.
The internal wooden load-bearing structure consists of a single square with four posts and a tie-beam truss. On the north side of the square is the threshing floor, on the east and south sides the cattle shed (with manure channel) and on the west side (front) the dwelling.
The masonry is constructed in red brick above a cemented plinth. At various places in the masonry the projecting ends of the wall anchors are visible.
The asymmetrical front facade (W) is higher than the adjoining left (N) and right facade (S) and has a wooden cornice. The front facade has a width of eight window bays. The first bay contains a double wooden door with two glass panels. The second through fifth bays contain wooden sash windows with a six-pane glazing bars. The sixth bay contains a wooden panel door with glass panel and fanlight. The remaining two bays contain arched cattle shed windows with iron glazing bars.
On the upper storey the fourth bay continues into the window of the wooden roof dormer. The roof dormer has on either side a wooden cheek and an overhanging gabled roof which is covered with black Dutch tiles. The gabled roof has scalloped wooden wind braces as well as a wooden makelaar.
The left side (N) has on its right an original wooden sash window with six-pane glazing bars.
The rear side (O) has on its left an original wooden door with glass panel and fanlight.
Valuation
The stolp farmhouse is of general interest from an architectural and cultural-historical point of view as a well-preserved example of rural architecture in an urban context from the third quarter of the 19th century.
