MUURKAS.
Muurkas uit de jaren '10 van de 20ste eeuw, gebouwd tegen de zuidzijde van een 18de-eeuwse muur, in het midden aan de westzijde van de moestuin. Aan de zuidzijde van de muur een bakstenen muurkas op rechthoekige grondslag. De schuin aflopende zijgevels zijn in het verleden opgehoogd om in de kas tabletten te kunnen plaatsen. Het lessenaarsdak bestaat uit glazen afdekplaten. De muur wordt aan de achterzijde door twee steunberen gesteund en is aan de achterzijde ingelegd met een hardstenen cartouche voorzien van het jaartal 1783 en de initialen A:A. Waarschijnlijk zijn deze initialen afkomstig van Adelbertus Ahuys, oud Katholiek priester te Amsterdam, die Queekhoven van 1776 tot 1800 in bezit had. Het cartouche is echter geen bewijs dat Ahuys opdrachtgever van de muur is geweest; het kan later zijn aangebracht.

Description
WALL HOUSE.
A wall house from the 1910s, built against the south side of an 18th-century wall, in the middle on the west side of the kitchen garden. On the south side of the wall a brick wall house on a rectangular plan. The sloping side gables have been raised in the past to accommodate shelves in the house. The lean-to roof consists of glass cover plates. The wall is supported on the rear side by two buttresses and is embedded on the rear side with a stone cartouche bearing the date 1783 and the initials A:A. These initials probably come from Adelbertus Ahuys, Old Catholic priest in Amsterdam, who owned Queekhoven from 1776 to 1800. However, the cartouche is not proof that Ahuys was the patron of the wall; it may have been added later.
