Omschrijving
ORANJERIE.
Vermoedelijk tussen 1827 en 1832 gebouwde oranjerie door J.D. Zocher jr. opgetrokken in de Empire-stijl en in 1956 verbouwd tot woonhuis. Bij deze verbouwing werd de rechthoekige, witbepleisterde oranjerie van een nieuwe bakstenen voeting voorzien, die voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang is.
Voorts werden de 5 dubbele openslaande oranjeriedeuren met bordestrap aan de voor(zuidwest-)zijde verwijderd. Van de oorspronkeli jke opzet aan deze zw-zijde resteert de Dorische pilastergeleding met dubbele pilasters ertussen. Boven de dubbele pilasters is het hoofdgestel voorzien van palmetmotieven. In de vakken boven de overige pilasters lauwerkransen. Dit hoofdgestel gaat aan de hele oranjerie om en wordt alleen aan deze zijde door de 5 venstertraveeën onderbroken.
De rechterzijgevel is door enkele pilasters in 3 traveeën geleed en heeft tijdens de verbouwing in de centrale travee een nieuwe deur gekregen, die via enkele treden t e bereiken is. Boven de deur is op de verdieping een 4 ruitsvenster aangebracht.
De linkerzijgevel laat eenzelfde opbouw zien als de rechter, met het verschil dat de centraal gelegen deurpartij authentiek is en dat er aan deze zijde geen venster op de verdieping aanwezig is. De achterzijde is tijdens de verbouwing van een nieuwe venster- en deurindeling voorzien.
De gevel wordt omgaande door een tot kroonlijst uitgebouwde goot afgesloten, die ter hoogte van de dubbele pilasters iets naar voren springt. Door deze overhellende kroonlijst wordt het flauw hellende zinken zadeldak aan het oog onttrokken.

Description
ORANGERY.
An orangery presumably built between 1827 and 1832 by J.D. Zocher jr. in Empire style and converted to a residential house in 1956. During this conversion, the rectangular, whitewashed orangery was given a new brick base, which is of subsidiary importance for protection purposes.
Furthermore, the 5 double opening orangery doors with steps at the front (southwest) side were removed. Of the original arrangement on this sw side, the Doric pilaster articulation with double pilasters between them remains. Above the double pilasters, the main cornice is furnished with palmette motifs. In the bays above the remaining pilasters, laurel wreaths. This main cornice runs around the entire orangery and is interrupted only on this side by the 5 window bays.
The right gable is articulated by several pilasters into 3 bays and received a new door in the central bay during the conversion, which is accessible via a few steps. Above the door, on the upper storey, a 4-pane window has been installed.
The left gable shows the same arrangement as the right, with the difference that the centrally located door section is authentic and that on this side there is no window on the upper storey. The rear side was given a new window and door arrangement during the conversion.
The gable is closed all around by a gutter expanded into a cornice, which protrudes slightly forward at the height of the double pilasters. Through this overhanging cornice, the gently sloping zinc gabled roof is hidden from view.
