Waardering
The dwellings were renovated in 1982 and provided with a new rear facade extension and/or a new storage. These extensions and outbuildings are excluded from protection.
Description
Situated in the western part of the Boschpoort complex, a series of twelve workers' dwellings (types N1,N,N,N,N3,N3,N3,N3,N,N,N, Bosscherweg 235) in a street facade, whose symmetry is only broken by the building Bosscherweg 235. L-shaped floor plans, mostly mirrored in pairs.
Bosscherweg 235 has a rectangular floor plan with bay windows on the rear, side and front facades. As a whole, the street facade is projected lengthwise in relation to the Bosscherweg, with numbers 233 and 235 projecting slightly forward.

All buildings have a partial basement and an attic storey. Kitchen extension of one storey under flat roof on the rear facade, with the exception of building Bosscherweg 235.
The corner building no. 213 (type N1) has an asymmetrical gabled roof in the transverse direction, on the long roof side provided with a dormer with wooden saw-tooth boarding and a chimney rising to the ridge line. Corner building 235 likewise has an asymmetrical gabled roof with a dormer, but lacks the tall-rising chimney. The intermediate dwellings of type N and N3 are covered with gabled roofs in the lengthwise direction and have short ridge chimneys. The roofs of type N3 have a raised ridge line. All roofs are provided with concrete tiles and gutters.
The dwellings have a tuff-stone frame, dark-tinted brick facades in header bond. Concrete window and door lintels. Rollag in the first storey. The overhangs of the corner buildings are supported on concrete corbels.

The rectangular, double wooden terrace doors with four-pane glazing bars are hidden from view by the newly built kitchen spaces.
Valuation
The block with twelve workers' dwellings is of cultural-historical importance as a particular expression of a socio-economic and typological development. The architectural-historical values are determined by the building style, the involvement of architect Boosten and the aesthetic qualities of his design.
The block is connected by its location to the development of the Boschpoort district and is of significance for the appearance of the district. The housing block possesses reasonable architectural integrity and is of importance in relation to the structural and visual integrity of the built environment. There is also a matter of reasonable regional rarity.
Moreover, the block is of importance as a functional component of the social housing complex Boschpoort.
