Omschrijving
Landhuis in eclectische stijl, XIXd, waarachter dienstgebouwen zijn gesitueerd. Het geheel is gesitueerd op een perceel, waarop de restanten van een parkachtige tuinaanleg. Aan de straatzijde bevinden zich twee stel hekpijlers, waartussen smeedijzeren hekwerken.
Het landhuis is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkeling. De architectuurhistorische waarden worden bepaald door de bouwstijl, de esthetische kwaliteiten van het bouwwerk, het materiaalgebruik en de ornamentiek. Het geheel maakt deel uit van een reeks landgoederen langs Meerssenerweg en Weert, waaronder Petite Suisse, Kruisdonk, Vaeshartelt en Klein-Vaeshartelt. Het landhuis is vanwege deze situering verbonden met de ontwikkeling van de streek tussen Maastricht en Meerssen en is van groot belang voor het aanzien van die streek. Het landhuis verkeert in architectonisch opzicht in gave staat en is van belang in relatie tot de structurele en visuele gaafheid van de landschappelijke omgeving.

Description
Country house in eclectic style, 19th century, behind which service buildings are situated. The whole is situated on a plot on which remains of a park-like garden layout are present. At the street side there are two sets of gate piers, between which wrought-iron railings.
The country house is of cultural-historical value as a distinctive expression of a socio-economic and typological development. The architectural-historical values are determined by the building style, the aesthetic qualities of the building, the use of materials and the ornamentation. The whole forms part of a series of country estates along Meerssenerweg and Weert, including Petite Suisse, Kruisdonk, Vaeshartelt and Klein-Vaeshartelt. The country house, because of this location, is connected with the development of the region between Maastricht and Meerssen and is of great importance for the appearance of that region. The country house is in intact architectural condition and is important in relation to the structural and visual integrity of the landscape environment.
