Inleiding
VILLA My Home, 1909. Een vrijstaande en prominent gesitueerde eclectische villa in het Maastrichte villapark, gebouwd in opdracht van P.G.H. Regout en P. Marres, naar een ontwerp van de Maastrichtse architect W. Sprenger. De in 1966 vernieuwde veranda, de bijgebouwde garage in de souterrainverdieping, het aan de achtergevel gebouwde terras en de bijbouwtjes in de tuin zijn uitgesloten van bescherming.
Omschrijving
Villa op een rechthoekige plattegrond met uitgebouwde veranda aan het linker achtergeveldeel en risalerend torendeel in de voorgevel. Twee bouwlagen met souterrain- en zolderverdieping.
Asymmetrische voorgevel met vier vensterassen, waarvan een in het risalerende rechtergeveldeel. Dit geveldeel loopt uit in een afgeknotte torenspits met dakkapel - inclusief fronton en klauwstukken - en heeft een grote driekante erker met balkon.
Het balkon is toegankelijk via een dubbele houten balkondeur met zijlichten in segmentboogvormige lijsten en voorzien is van een fraaie smeedijzeren balustrade plus vlaggemast. Aan weerszijden van het balkon bevinden zich de gevelteksten "Villa" en "My Home". Op de linkergevelhoek bevindt zich een liseen. Blinde noordgevel, achtergevel met drie traveeën, zuidgevel met twee traveeën waarin een blind venster.
De bakstenen optrek is gemetseld in kruisverband, is voorzien van een imitatie-rustica plint, een hardstenen toegangstrap, natuurstenen speklagen en gestucte diamantkoppen in de vensterlijsten, aanzet- en sluitstenen. Strekken. Hardstenen dorpels. De kroonlijst bestaat uit een gestucte gevellijst, waarop de gootconsoles lijken te rusten en waartussen zich kleine stucornamenten bevinden.
Rechthoekige houten T-vensters, rechthoekige houten vensters met bovenlicht, rechthoekige dubbele houten balkondeuren met boven- en zijlichten. Dakkapellen met houten frontons en klauwstukken. De INTERIEURindeling van de villa is met uitzondering van een doorbraak in de woonkamer intact gebleven. Keldermuren op mergelfundament. In het interieur zijn onder meer van belang de originele paneeldeuren, gestucte kooflijsten, rozetten en andersoortige stucornamenten. Geornamenteerde gangboog met kroonluchter. Drie marmeren haardpartijen.
Het perceel wordt grotendeels omgeven door een geornamenteerd smeedijzeren hekwerk.

Villa My Home is van cultuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een typologische een sociaal-economische ontwikkeling: de vestiging van de gegoede burgerij buiten het oude stadscentrum. Description
Villa on a rectangular floor plan with projecting veranda on the left rear gable section and projecting tower section in the front gable. Two storeys with basement and attic storey.
Asymmetrical front gable with four window bays, one of which is in the projecting right gable section. This gable section terminates in a truncated tower spire with roof dormer - including pediment and claw brackets - and has a large triangular oriel window with balcony.
The balcony is accessible via a double wooden balcony door with sidelights in segmental-arch shaped frames and is furnished with fine wrought-iron balustrade plus flagstaff. On either side of the balcony are located the gable inscriptions "Villa" and "My Home". On the left gable corner is a pilaster. Blind north gable, rear gable with three bays, south gable with two bays featuring a blind window.
The brickwork is laid in English bond, is provided with an imitation-rustication plinth, a hardstone entrance staircase, natural stone speckled courses and stuccoed diamond knobs in the window frames, base and top stones.
