Omschrijving
Het WOONHUIS behorend tot het hooihuisboerderij-complex en gebouwd op rechthoekige plattegrond, is opgetrokken uit baksteen en bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder zadeldak, waarvan de nok loodrecht staat op die van de schuur. Het dak is bedekt met zwart geglazuurde rode Hollandse pannen en is langs de onderzijde voorzien van een goot met houten lijst.
De korte zijden van het pand (de zuidwestzijde grenzend aan het kanaal, de noordoostzijde aan de straat Oost-Graftdijk) zijn gecementeerd en voorzien van gesneden windveren en verticaal beschot met dubbel venster in de geveltop. De zuidwestzijde heeft ter hoogte van de begane grond een schuifraam en een later vergrote vensterpartij; de noordoostzijde drie ramen, waarvan het rechter korter is door de situering boven een kelder.
De lange gevel aan de zuidoostzijde heeft twee ramen, de gevel aan de noordwestzijde drie kelderramen en ter hoogte van de begane grond een deur met stoep en vier vensters van verschillend formaat (het meest westelijke is vergroot).

Het woonhuis is van algemeen belang uit architectuur- en cultuurhistorisch oogpunt als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het hoohuisboerderij-complex.

Description
The DWELLING HOUSE belonging to the hay-house farm complex and built on a rectangular plan, is constructed of brick and consists of one storey under a gabled roof, the ridge of which runs perpendicular to that of the barn. The roof is covered with black glazed red Dutch tiles and is provided along the underside with a gutter with wooden moulding.
The short sides of the building (the southwest side bordering the canal, the northeast side facing the street Oost-Graftdijk) are rendered and provided with carved wind vanes and vertical boarding with a double window in the gable top. The southwest side has at ground-floor level a sash window and a later enlarged window section; the northeast side three windows, the right one being shorter due to its position above a cellar.
The long facade on the southeast side has two windows, the facade on the northwest side three cellar windows and at ground-floor level a door with a step and four windows of different sizes (the westernmost has been enlarged).
Valuation
The dwelling house is of general importance from an architectural and cultural-historical point of view as a historical-functional component of the hay-house farm complex.
