Inleiding
Het betreft een in opdracht van de Heidemij in ca. 1930 gebouwde woning die in 1941 of 1942 vanuit de Wieringermeer naar Kuinre is overgebracht om te dienen als onderkomen voor personeel dat aan de inpoldering van de Noordoostpolder leiding gaf.
Omschrijving
Op betonnen fundering geplaatste houten ingenieurswoning onder met Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak. Symmetrische topgevel met drie uitkragende geledingen. Begane grond met horizontaal beschot, verdieping en zolder zijn verticaal beschoten. Draairamen met horizontale roedenverdeling. Achtergevel met moderne, gewijzigde geveltop. Zijgevel met klein aanbouwtje. In de achtertuin een bijbehorend houten schuurtje onder plat dak. Links van het huis een aangebouwde garage.
Waardering
Deze houten woning is architectuur-historisch van belang vanwege vormgeving en materiaalgebruik, die bepaald zijn door de wens het geheel te kunnen verplaatsen. Wooden engineer's house placed on concrete foundations beneath a gabled roof covered with Dutch tiles. Symmetrical gable with three projecting articulations. Ground floor with horizontal boarding, first floor and attic with vertical boarding. Casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. Rear facade with modern, altered gable top. Side facade with small outbuilding. In the rear garden an associated wooden shed with flat roof. To the left of the house an attached garage.
Valuation
This wooden dwelling is architecturally significant due to its design and material use, which were determined by the desire to be able to relocate the whole structure. As a remnant of the developmental history of the new polder (which brought about drastic consequences to the old land), the building is of historical significance.
