Omschrijving:
Uit één bouwlaag en een dakverdieping bestaande CONGIERGEWONING, deel uitmakend van het complex Libanon Lyceum in Traditionalistische trant naar ontwerp van M.J. Granpré Molière, en gelegen op de hoek van de Palestinastraat en de Cederstraat.
De woning is op een vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond in rode baksteen opgetrokken onder een met leien bedekt zadeldak en heeft conform de school natuurstenen dorpels, sluitstenen, plint en stoep. De hoeken worden geaccentueerd door gemetselde blokvormige lisenen.
De ingang, een houten deur met bovenlicht, bevindt zich geheel links onder een afdak, gedragen door een ijzeren lateibalk met smeedijzeren rozetten. Hiernaast een driezijdige uitbouw met in ieder gevelvlak een hoog rechthoekig schuifvenster met kleine roedenverdeling. De uitbouw heeft een plat dak waarvan de houten daklijst doorloopt boven de naastgelegen latei.
In het midden van de gevelpunt een groot drieledig venster met kleine roedenverdeling in de bovenlichten.
In de zijgevel langs de Cederstraat drie kruisvensters met kleine roedenverdeling in de bovenlichten.
Boven het middelste venster wordt de daklijst onderbroken voor een dakkapel met een klein vierkant venster en bekroond door een geprononceerde daklijst.
Waardering:
Congiergewoning algemeen belang wegens van architectuurhistorische en typologische waarde alsook van belang als historisch-functioneeel onderdeel van het complex Libanon Lyceum.

Description:
CARETAKER'S DWELLING consisting of one storey and an attic storey, forming part of the Libanon Lyceum complex in Traditionalist style designed by M.J. Granpré Molière, and situated at the corner of Palestinastraat and Cederstraat.
The dwelling is constructed in red brick on an almost rectangular floor plan under a gabled roof covered with slate and has, conforming to the school, natural stone thresholds, keystones, plinth and front step. The corners are accentuated by moulded block-shaped pilasters.
The entrance, a wooden door with fanlight, is situated on the far left under a canopy, supported by an iron lintel bar with wrought-iron rosettes. Beside this a three-sided extension with in each facade a tall rectangular sash window with small glazing bars. The extension has a flat roof whose wooden cornice continues above the adjacent lintel.
In the centre of the gable a large three-part window with small glazing bars in the fanlights.
In the side facade facing Cederstraat three cross windows with small glazing bars in the fanlights.
Above the middle window the cornice is interrupted for a roof dormer with a small square window and crowned by a pronounced cornice.
Appraisal:
Caretaker's dwelling of general importance by reason of its architectural-historical and typological value as well as significance as a historico-functional component of the Libanon Lyceum complex.
