Linkerpand van een reeks van drie in donker baksteen uitgevoerde winkelwoonhuizen bestaande uit een winkel op de beganegrond, een eerste verdieping, tweede verdieping en een kapverdieping onder een schilddak bedekt met pannen.
De voorgevel heeft een hoge, deels verdiepte winkelpui waarbij boven de recht afgesloten etalageruit een hoog getoogd bovenlicht is aangebracht. Op de hoek met het Schapenburgerpad zijn twee driehoekige erkers tegen elkaar geplaatst, welke nog de originele overlappende afdekking hebben. Samen vormen zij een rechthoek op klossen. Onder de overstekende goot is een fries aangebracht in gele steen met kruismotieven tussen de rode steen. Om de perceelsbreedte van de panden te benadrukken zijn op de bouwmuur tussen het linker- en middelste huis kruisornamenten van gele steen aangebracht. Dit accent is ook terug te vinden in de pijlerachtige detaillering tussen de bogen van de winkelpanden.Dit effect wordt ondersteund door de kop van de muur tussen de twee winkelpuien (tegenwoordig met natuurstenen platen omkleed): de schacht van de muurpijler is teruggeplaatst, het kapiteel en de impost daarentegen zitten in één vlak met de gevel. De erkers boven de winkelpuien zijn als zelfstandige volumes vormgegeven; zij doorklieven schijnbaar het muurvlak en doorsnijden met hun pyramidedaken het bakstenen fries en de gootlijst. De erkers rusten op scherp gesneden consoles van berg- en baksteen en ontwikkelen zich via twee kraagsteentjes tot een zuivere driehoeksvorm. De verticale begrenzing wordt aan de linkerhoek door belijning en natuurstenen bekroning met floraal motief scherp geaccentueerd. Onder de erker aan de Hobbemastraat (aldaar de meest linkse) bevindt zich de ingangsportiek naar de bovenwoning. Rechts van de etalage de entree naar de winkel. In oorsprong waren de beglaasde paneeldeuren alle voorzien van een drieledig bovenlicht. Midden boven de twee H-vensters een dakkapel. De twee diepe huizen waartoe dit pand behoort hebben een gemeenschappelijke lichthof. Het trapportaal en de woonkamers zijn zeer royaal van maat. Op de tweede verdieping zijn de slaapkamers ondergebracht met de grote zolder als bergruimte. De voorgevel wordt verder geaccentueerd door de natuurstenen afwerking van de consoles en de eveneens natuurstenen hoekstenen boven de erkervensters.
De gevel aan het Schapenburgerpad heeft twee schuin omhooglopende vensterrijen en eindigt in een topgevel met twee flankerende hoog opgemetselde schoorstenen.

Left-hand building of a row of three shop-dwellings executed in dark brick, consisting of a shop on the ground floor, a first storey, second storey and an attic storey under a hipped roof covered with tiles.
The front facade has a high, partly recessed shop window with a high arched fanlight above the straight-edged display window. At the corner with the Schapenburgerpad two triangular bay windows are placed against each other, which still have the original overlapping covering. Together they form a rectangle on corbels. Under the overhanging gutter a frieze has been applied in yellow brick with cross motifs between the red brick. To emphasise the plot width of the buildings, cross ornaments of yellow brick have been applied to the party wall between the left and middle building. This accent is also found in the pillar-like detailing between the arches of the shop windows. This effect is supported by the head of the wall between the two shop windows (nowadays clad with natural stone slabs): the shaft of the wall pillar is set back, the capital and impost, by contrast, are flush with the facade. The bay windows above the shop windows are designed as independent volumes; they apparently pierce the wall plane and cut through the brick frieze and the gutter line with their pyramid roofs. The bay windows rest on sharply cut consoles of stone and brick and develop via two corbels into a pure triangular form. The vertical boundary is sharply accentuated at the left corner by lining and natural stone coping with floral motif. The facade on the Schapenburgerpad has two diagonally rising rows of windows and ends in a gable with two flanking high-built chimneys.
