Inleiding
De BOERDERIJ met dwarsgeplaatst voorhuis is in 1898 in eclectische trant in Twijzel gebouwd. De indeling van de schuur is later gewijzigd waarbij garagedeuren zijn toegevoegd.
Omschrijving
De boerderij bestaat uit een dwarsgeplaatst voorhuis en een schuurgedeelte daarachter. Het pand is opgetrokken in bruine handvorm baksteen. De gevel van het dwarshuis heeft een gepleisterde plint en wordt afgesloten door een daklijst met panelen. Boven de gootlijst is een sneeuwbord met ajourhekken.
Het woongedeelte heeft een met gegolfde Friese pannen gedekt schilddak waarvan het voorste trapeziumvormige schild meer hellend is dan het achterste. Op de hoek van de nok en hoekkepers zijn schoorstenen met schoorsteenbord. De licht getoogde T-vensters in de symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel hebben persiennes. De getoogde strekken hebben donkerbruine bakstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen. De licht getoogde omlijste paneeldeur met middenstijl, siersmeedwerk en bovenlicht bevindt zich in het midden van de voorgevel. Daarboven is een kajuit met een T-venster dat opgeluisterd wordt met voluutwangen en een versierde dakrand. Aan de zijgevel van het dwarshuis zijn enkele vensters vernieuwd.
Het schuurgedeelte onder wolfdak heeft rietbedekking en vijf regels gegolfde Friese pannen. Aan de zuidgevel zijn drie oorspronkelijke getoogde elfruits stalramen en een oorspronkelijke dubbele houten deur.
De vier- en negenruitsvensters zijn vernieuwd. De achtergevel van het akkerbouwbedrijfstype heeft oorspronkelijke mendeuren en een staldeur met zijlicht; de garagedeuren zijn van recenter datum. Aan de noordgevel zijn twaalf verticale getoogde drieruits stalramen. Op de nok van de schuur is een uilebord van het Friese Wouden-type.

The farmhouse consists of a transversely positioned front section and a barn section behind it. The building is constructed in brown handmade brick. The residential section has a hipped roof covered with corrugated Frisian tiles, the front trapezoid shield sloping more steeply than the rear one. On the junction of the ridge and hip rafters are chimneys with chimney boards. The slightly arched T-windows in the symmetrically arranged front facade have blinds. The arched stretches have dark brown brick corner and closing stones. The slightly arched framed panel door with central stile, ornamental ironwork and fanlight is located in the centre of the front facade. Above it is a cabin with a T-window embellished with scroll brackets and a decorated roofline. Some windows on the side facade of the transverse house have been renewed.
The barn section under a half-hipped roof has thatch covering and five courses of corrugated Frisian tiles. On the south facade are three original arched eleven-pane stable windows and an original double wooden door.
The four- and nine-pane windows have been renewed. The rear facade of the arable farm type has original manger doors and a stable door with side light; the garage doors are of more recent date. On the north facade are twelve vertical arched three-pane stable windows. On the ridge of the barn is an owl board of the Frisian Wouden type.

The farmhouse with transversely positioned front section is of cultural-historical and architectural importance:
- as a main component of the visually well-preserved complex with stoke house and remains of a farm garden,
- because it is an example of a fairly common farmhouse type in this municipality,
